Governance - Parents

Parents are their children's first teachers and are the primary influences on their lives. The primary goal of St. James of the Valley School is to enhance what a child has learned at home. The school builds on faith experiences that children bring with them. Working together, home and school can bring children to the realization that Jesus Christ is the person who really counts in their lives. (Parent as Witness, National Catholic Education Association, 1981)

Another goal of St. James of the Valley School is to have cooperation and collaboration between parents, teachers, and administration on all matters of education and discipline.
