The Catholic school teacher works with the principal and school officials in carrying out the educational policies of the archdiocese. Relationships with administrative authorities, faculty, parents, and students are characterized by mutual respect and cooperation. All teachers employed by St. James of the Valley School are required to hold a valid teaching license issued by the State of Ohio Department of Education. All religion teachers are required to be certified catechists or working toward certification. All teachers are required to have an understanding of the Catholic faith and are expected to practice their religion.
